Our latest and greatest...

Been quite awhile since I have posted. Been a little hectic on top of having computer issues.....so some stuff has definitely changed around here. Earlier this week we got our very first foster child. He's a lively six year old and has definitely kept us on our toes. The kids have been great with him, which has made their mama very proud. Midge is very happy to have a playmate that can actually keep up with her. They have been doing lots of pretending today, which is cute to watch. I am "stuffed to the gills" as they have been preparing me many dishes from their make-believe kitchen. It is very fulfilling to see my kiddies showing God's love to a child who needs it so badly right now. I will have to remember those moments of kindness to our little guy when they are fighting with each other! (they tend to do that more than I like!). Not sure how long our little guy will be with us--there is even a chance of him leaving next week, but we plan to love on him the whole time we get to have him. Wish I could post his picture but I think that goes against the rules....but he's a cutie.

The homeschooling continues on and we are really loving the science---with a nurse Mom, what would ya expect? It's "Eggville" around here between our praying mantis laying her egg sack and we are on day 11 of our chicken incubation. My next post will have some pictures ....

The weather has turned cold on us this week and I think fall is officially here. The leaves are falling like crazy. Gotta love the Midwest!

That about sums it up for now. I will be uploading some more pics soon.
